Chris Fitzgerald of Neoteric Hovercraft gave his talk about his experience with the Light Hovercraft Market over the last four decades or so on Thursday 13th October.
A recording of his presentation together with a discussion session has been loaded on our YouTube Channel. You can find it here
The presentation itself lasts 30 minutes and discussion a further 30 minutes.
Chris has a wealth of knowledge on running a relatively small business while supporting clients spread worldwide. As he points out there is a long list of small hovercraft companies that have come and gone (illustrated in his slide show) and right now his Neoteric Hovercraft is probably the longest lived apart from Griffon Hovercraft that are now part of Griffon Hoverwork.
His long-term success is based on the principle that a client buying a hovercraft generally also needs some operator training, and follow-up maintenance and/or parts support for the vehicle to be truly useful and satisfying.
